Summary
Colosseum is a CSGO map that is mainly made up of breakable covers and features a "hide and seek" experience.
In Colosseum, the players have to eliminate the opponent with the given weapons, a knife and a desert eagle with only one mag. (7 bullets) The map is divided into two closed symmetrical zones separated by breakable walls. The players will spawn into a wooden box in each zone, they have to break the box and jump into the Colosseum to start the game.

Design Goals
CS: GO is a low TTK tactical shooter game that requires a high level of aiming and movement skills. New players could easily get frustrated when they meet experienced players and not even get a chance to experience the gameplay of the strategy or the map. Some of my friends aren't good at FPS, and it's easy to get bored while practicing aiming or moving, and it takes time.
Therefore, I decided to create a level that would allow players to have fun even when an inexperienced player is playing against an advanced player.
Pre-Prodcution
Aiming skill is one of the biggest gaps between an experienced player and a new player. From this perspective, providing more gameplay through the level could be a choice to help new players close the gap in aiming skill gap. So enriching the gameplay through the map becomes our design direction.
Inspired by R6, we chose the destructible object as the main element to start making the level, since it allows the player to create their own strategy by playing with the level.
We did a bunch of PVP playtests(Pro vs. Pro, Potato vs. Potato, Pro vs. Potato) and found that a high-damage semi-auto weapon could be appropriate.

Players will not easily tear down the map by using a pistol.

Experienced players still have the advantage of better shooting skills with a better pistol. Thus we chose the desert eagle and knife as the weapons. We provided only one mag for the desert eagle to increase the value and cost of using a gun and nerf the pro player by limiting the ammo.
Spawn Point
The spawn point is located in the wooden box on a shelf in the back of the zone. The player can see the opponent on this shelf when breaks the wall.
We designed this to create the experience of two fighters entering the Colosseum to see each other before a duel to the death.
